| Subject: | Dragon Sd.Kfz. 234 series hull fit problems | |

Hello gents,
I orginaly purchased the cyber hobby 234/4 and assembled it, but the upper hull was warped. I thought it was an ok kit but when I was at the local hobby store a couple days ago, I saw the 234/1 and broke down and got it to give it a try.
Test fitting the upper and lower hull reveals...fit issues. Pretty major really. It looks like both lower and upper are not warped, but trying to wiggle the locating pins in is a bear. Once both front and rear sets of pins are engaged it makes the middle section (where the front and rear section changes slope, ahead of the phyical front and back where they bolted together in real life) lift up and leave a gap that won't squish back down.
Is it me? No other assembly has been done! I've only removed the upper hull from the sprue and taken the lower hull from it's bag and they won't go together correctly. Is there some trick? So far, I have sliced off the front locating pins and it sits a bit better together, about half as bad as before, but still aways away from perfect. I hope this doesn't throw off the fender fit now.
If anyone else had this problem, how did you solve it?
TIA
