Duh-oh! And my buddy in Japan loves the Italeri 234's.. Thanks for the imput Paul. I think I will have to shave all the pins off except the very rear ones. It looks like they have some kind of very wide push rod for extracating the upper hull out of it's mold (not rods but long and wide, like 3 inches wide, have you seen the long pattern along the edge of the upper hull that would meet the lower hull? I wonder if that is part of the problem. It looks like the area that gets pushed out will leave a gap when fitted together. I'll try and snap a picture later tonight to illustrate. I'm off to the steak house right now, 15th anniversary with the Mrs! And no arguements the whole time! Not even over models...
