Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Hi Jordi,

I don't know the Formations (conversion?) kit, but the differences you describe between the tubes on the air filters have most likely to do with the engine type used. The M3 light series were produced in both gasoline (mostly) and diesel (smaller number) powered versions.
If my memory serves me right (I've no acces to my references at the moment) the old Tamiya kit is a diesel variant and the new Academy kit is a gasoline one. So I guess the Formations kit is a diesel too. Check the Track-Link gallerys, I'm sure some examples of this variation must be available there.

Cheers,
Alex
