Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Jordi,

I'll try to help. The parts in the Academy kit are attempts at representing the gasoline aircleaners, the tubes on the kit parts are the wrong length (too long) but they are not as long as the ones on a diesel. The diesel tubes are like the old Tamiya kit and run into the side of the screen on the upper deck. All the refrence that I have which includes several ordnance drawings of gas burner M3's and M3A1's have the same style filter with the shorter tubes and they go into the plate of the upper rear deck through an opening at the edge of the plate. If I can help with a replacemnent set of aircleaners let me know. I'll be happy to help anyway I can.

Cheers,
Rob Ervin
