Dragon just re-released their M4A4 (British designation = Sherman V) with some updated parts from their more recent Sherman kits (like the suspension). The Sherman V is the quintessential British/Commonwealth Sherman since nearly all of them were used by Britain, Cananda and France (some were also used by South African forces).
The Dragon kit is pretty good as is but adding some British type stowage boxes would be appropriate (found in the Firefly Vc kit or from Formations or Accurate Armour). The usual updating such as photoetch, tracks, etc. is recommended for super detailing.
Quarter Masters make many decal sets for Canadian Sherman Vs and they're quite nicely printed.
Also, some Sherman Vs were fitted with the British style cupola seen on the Centaur/Cromwell and Churchill tanks so that's an easy way to make a slightly more unusual model.
Finally, the Sherman Vs in the Coldstream Guards have the Typoon rockets mounted on the turrets (as did their Fireflys). Dragon offered these in their original M4A4 kit but I'm not sure if they're in the new release. This modification was called the 'Tulip' (not sure why).
