Patrizio,
IMHO, the new re-release of the DML Firefly 1c makes a good starting point or donor kit, depending on how much you want to change out.
It has the correct lower hull and rear end, and, also, the suspension (you want upraised return rollers) and hull modifications for the Firefly, already in the box.
The upper hull is good, requiring a light sanding to tone down the "orange peel" casting effect that Dragon used.
The CMD hull is better, but only slightly.
As for turrets, the Verlinden and CMD versions were seldom seen on the Hybrids. The M4 Composites were built with the late low bustle without the pistol port and the high bustle turrets.
The DML re-release of the Firefly 1c utilizes the late low bustle Firefly turret found in their latest Firefly Vc kit and is correct for the hybrid Firefly.

Formations makes a much better one.
Sid Arnold of Armoured Brigade Models produces the high bustle Firefly turret. Very Nice. Photos posted on PMMS New Kit News under ABM.
