Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Hello!
With the recent interest in rail in 1/35th scale (the kreigslocomotive and the Railway guns) I was wondering if anybody has any knowledge of kits of railway flats cars or similar.

I am gathering some research on whether it is feasible or not to build a project that I have had in my head for some time. It involves the combination of armour, and train and Im not saying any more, state secret you see.. :)

This project, would be alot easier if I had some the steelwheels (or indeed, most of the undercarrige) from a kit.

I would like some 10 spoked wheels approx 27mm diameter, and some 12 spoked wheels approx 31mm in diameter.
I write approx, because I am not 100% of the numbers, but they are pretty close.

Are there any (preferably inexpensive) kits out there that I might scavenge ?

and also are there any websites dedicated to rail in 1/35 scale ?
