Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Hello,

I just built the Italeri Pz-38 a few months ago. Honestly, although an old kit, it falls together and looks quite convincing after some weathering. If you do build it, though, be sure and prime the tracks with something (I used Tamiya grey primer in the can). Otherwise, I don't think acrylic paint will stick to the tracks. I picked it up for a third of the price of the new Tri-Star kit. But, I must admit after getting a look inside the box at the Tri-Star 38-t, it is a real knock out and I will probably consume to consumer lust and buy one.

I answer to your original question,as a "background" item it would certainly more than suffice!

Regards,

Ed
