in general i heard, that the meilerwagen was used in the fire position area only. for transport they used a different trailer without hydraulic rocket lifting system.
the meilerwagen was used to lift the rocket onto the start table.
they used a Fries Portalkran to swap the rocket from one to the other trailer.
....hope that all is right.......but if not i am sure someone will correct me. i will look, maybe i find those pics i made from a V2 craters when one missile had a start failure and the shockwave blew another one from the start table (distance about 100 m). The craters are about 10 - 15m in diameter and still more than 1m deep (after 60 years)....
