Sometimes I think model kits are a bit like women. Two men can look at the same one and have completely different feelings towards her.

The new Dragon kit certainly makes the other two obsolete. At one of my favorite on-line retailers the DML smart kit is $8.50 more expensive than the Tamiya kit, at another the DML kit is a dollar less than the Tamiya kit. No matter what you pay for it time is money, and with as much time as one puts into a model the DML smart kit is worth any extra expenditure you'd put out as compared to the Shanghai or Tamiya offerings.
