| I've got all the Panther kits, and as I am building the Smart Panther, I've been adapting some of the leftover optional parts to the Shanghai Dragon Panther G kits--the engine fan inserts are a perfect fit, something I suspect was deliberate on Dragon's part. and the engine fan covers and leftover round mantlet will be similarly utilized on the steel wheel Panther. The original Gunze/Dragon effort is not bad at all, but it's the difference between a very good 1990 kit and an amazing 2006 kit, and simply as a challenge to myself, I'd like to finish them both to the same standard. But if I were starting out with a blank slate, I'd go for the Dragon Smart Kit of the G, no question. |
