Hello Glenn ,
There were 3 main J types . First the short barrel with the early G/H type engine deck. Then a long barrel with the same early deck . Then the long barrel with the J/L type deck . So while you can have a factory L/60 on the early hull , there are no factory L/42's with the J/L deck as this changed with the L/60 types .I can't believe that no one makes these proper J types in plastic as the J was the most numerous Pz III made. Hope this helps .
