Ya have to suck it up and pay whatever price you can find them for, say on e-bay. If you are just looking to do a nice build and not have every nut, bolt and barely seen detail absolutely correct, there is nothing wrong with the Tamiya kits, especially the Fruhe and Afrika versions as they have the corrected asymetrical turrets. Truthfully I put the "correct" turret next to the "flawed" turret from the Tamiya Late kit, and the difference doesn't bother me one bit. In fact, it went unnoticed, or a least no worried about, until about 3 years ago or so, when someone pointed it out and everyone started slapping themselves for never noticing it. Now its an absolute nightmare if a Tiger kits has the "flawed" turret. But I'm not that picky when it comes down to it. But if ya limit yourself to 5 years or newer, well, them are your choices. You can get one of the Tamiya Fruhe kits right now, with PE screens, for $20. Ask around for someones Magic tracks that they have replaced with Friuli's or MK's, and you are well on the way to a good solid model.
