I really don't know. But this kit can't build anything from before March 1943. So the Early kit might possibly include parts for the Bovington Tiger.
One thing I would expect, is that Dragon would tool some new dedicated sprues and stop putting so many surplus parts in the box. Then they could make large numbers of Early kits at less cost.
