The Tamiya 1970s Tiger II kit has motorisation hole in the lower hull. If this is the kit you have then there is a lot wrong with it. The turret front is totally misshapen for example.

The newer Tamiya Tiger II from the '90s is pretty good, if you have that one then there's not much point in getting the DML Tiger II.
