Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Can't speak to the diff model numbers from Academy that you cite. I gather it has something to do with single-motor, two-motor, static offerings, or, the Academy-originated Panther G.

I have both of the Academy 2-motor wired remote-control Panthers; the Panther A and the JagdPanther. Both are sprue-for-sprue knockoffs of the original Tamiya kits from the late 60s. Both have snap-together link by link track.
Both are pretty cool despite folks waving their Jentz & Doyles in disgust.

As I understand it, the Academy Panther G is a re-tooled effort using the Panther A as a staring point. And, that it offered multi-sectioned "band tracks", versus traditional 1-pc band tracks.
