Using the 75mm turret from the Tamiya M4A3 is the one I would recommend. Only two things to add:
1) make sure you put putty around the seam where the shell ejection port meets the left turret wall
2) (and this is a larger project) add the thickened cheek armor to the right front of the turret. See here:

The Soviets had many of these was well as the 76mm armed ones as depicted in the DML kit. |
