The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too. |

Cheers Jason, I feel thoroughly chastised!
I was just hoping for someone to maybe say, "Hang fire- the Dragon kit will be out in the summer and the word is that it's FAR superior!"
I wasn't asking for a lesson in marketing, I do know that Dragon make other kits, and that it takes time, [and EVEN that companies like to make a profit!], but was merely asking if it is in the pipeline or merely a pipe dream. I don't want to wait years.
Besides it wouldn't be the first time Dragon have announced a release that hasn't materialised. [And if the Trumpeter kit is a success, who's to say Dragon won't drop it].
As for the Trumpeter kit I would point out that I said "LOOKS to be up to the standard". And yes that was based on the resin master, but also in the fact that they have substantially upped their game recently regarding sharpness of detail, fit etc.
I think I have "learned my lesson", as you say, I did get it wrong with the Firefly, opting for the big renowned kitmaker, over the smaller oufit who were barely on my radar for quality of product- that's why I am asking this time...
