Hi Dominic
It's all wrong there with the DML kit. you need to make some changes, a bit of scratch building and lots of putty. a very good source how to correct it is the Osprey Modelling the Hetzer book. I do recommend this to you. I have built the Hetzer several time ago and do not recall what was exactly to correct, but I guess it was the saukopfblende itself and the fit of the barrel to the inner section.
I did go through all of this as well but was lucky enough to have the book on my side!
