Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

I live near Coos Bay, Oregon which is a long way from a convenient Hobby Shop dealing in AFV kits. I keep making the mistake of not being more specific on what I am looking for; I wish the Army would have stayed with a sequential number system instead of re-cycling them. Yes, I do use TL advertisers; I just ordered sets of gauges and placards decal sets from Archer yesterday to add to the interiors of my models. I generally do not buy anything until I see a review on the product on TL or PMMS as both have very good (honest) detailed reviews that always are right on the target and do not cut any slack on a poor product that does not work.

I like to know what I am looking for so I am able to use a “search” to find it. It appears that Italeri may be the only show for a weapon of which thousands were made. I only do WW2 right now and I see where the designation M2A1 and M101 may be different designations for the same gun so Ill have to track that down. Do you know the kit number?
