Tim,
The turret would be the early high bustle turret with reinforced cheek, pistol port and loader's hatch.
Even if it received a low bustle turret, at the time it was built (JAN-FEB 44) it would have received either the late LB turret with reinforced cheek but without the pistol port...
... or one of the rare final model LB with reinforced cheek, pistol port and and loader's hatch as found on the E13-13 Flamethrower built on a M4A1 produced during the same period.
