Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Has anyone done a conversion to backdate the Tamiya Centurion to one of the WWII versions? According to "British and American Tanks of WWII" by Peter Chamberlain and Chris Ellis, "The first 6 vehicles produced, later called Centurion I, were delivered in May 1945 and rushed to Germany for testing in combat conditions with the 22nd Armored Brigade".

Even though they were too late for action, I thought that it would make an interesting addition to my WWII armor collection. Looking at pictures, it looks like some minor modifications to the engine deck, and an entirely new turret would be in order, but I thought that I'd ask for some insightful input from fellow forum members.
