re your enquiry about the sherman crab . i am about to finish off my crab at the moment( at the painting stage). i have both the resicast and the legends set and with out a doubt the legends set is the best.
the resicast set is complicated and its instructions take two months to work out. the legends instructions set it out far better.
as for the chains i have 13 reference photos shot at different periods from d-day to wars end and these all depict the chain and ball setup,this set up was used more than is thought. one thing the legends set does not provide is the spigot launchers on the hull sides at the rear these i took from the resicat set.and i also had scale plans which was a great help. i hope this is of help to u |
