I'm getting a confused by this debate - surely we all realise this is going to cost $s and time to build - which is an entirely personal choice.

The real issue for me is whether it materially improves the prototype fidelity of finished result - so does anybody have any thoughts on that subject?

Answers to questons like "are the rivets well formed' or "is the brass thick enough to replicate armour plating" would be more useful imho.
