| Subject: | Actual imporvement is debatable! | |

Nick,
To answer your question, here are my observations, as posted earlier on another forum. Basically, aside from the scale thickness factor and the correct "slited" screw heads, I question the actual "improvement" value of this set:
- Most of the tie-downs seem to be missing - the M2 was covered with them!
- Grab handles on either side of the upper rear wall seem to be missing.
- The engine hood latches and handles are absent.
- There doesn't seem to be any detail on the inner surfaces of the rear compartment walls.
- Details such as tie-downs and sliding latches also appear to be absent from the inner face of the folding upper doors.
- There is a redundant map holder in the driver's door which, tough I'm not 100% sure, was only installed on the co-driver's door.
- The set does not provide the missing bracket for the exhaust pipe.
- The stubs for side cargo door catches are missing from the upper side walls.
- The set provided upgraded parts for the M2A1's pulpit, but completely omits the jerrycan holders that were standard by the time the M2A1 entered production!
- Although hard to see, it also appears that the undersides of the front fenders were left unattended (no reinforcing brackets/ribs).
