Hi Brian,
Take a look at the ongoing Firefly blog by James Weschler. He encountered no problems yet. I know of several who claim the Luchs to be the best German kit they built (when it came out).
While I have not built my Firefly, the parts fit that I have tested are perfect. They are definitely worth the high price.
