Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Has anybody ever seen fit to do a 1/35th MBT-70, even in resin? With a dozen built, it's definitely not a Paper Panzer, fills in a gap in US MBT history, was a joint venture with Germany (and thus really should have at least three competing kits of it already available) and is basically just a very interesting vehicle.

I imagine a resin kit would be pretty pricey, but it'd certainly make for an interesting model, and would look great either sandwiched between a Leopard I and Leopard 2, or between an M-60 and an Abrams.

Fascinating beastie - look it up in Wikipedia for some pics. I don't expect to find that a kit exists in any form, but at least wanted to throw out "hey, why doesn't an MBT-70 kit exist?" just in case somebody reading's looking for something new and different for their next round of kits. If WWII German none-offs are good enough for rival kits, surely a part-German vehicle that was actually built in relatively large numbers is worthy of some attention?
