Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Productions as found in their Superset. The only thing that makes them modern is the scope mount. Yep, we used the M2 for sniping! Obviously before the dedicated 50 Cal sniping rifles came into the Navy's inventory in the 1980s.

Other variations I came across (although I was not sure if the gun was imported form the FN factory in Belgium) were elongated oval holes in the barrel sleeve and a flash suppressor. The barrel sleeve has also been seen with a cylindrical as opposed to tapering sleeve. Again, I am not sure if this was an American made gun but it does make for variety and they were indeed modern!

Regards,
Saśl
