Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Hello Pete,

The basic tank is correct for the ETO, but as Al also mentions, the various fittings like stowage, applique armour, transmission covers and tracks can make things confusing.

The Concord book on Brit Shermans has good photographs. The older ones in the series, by David Fletcher, will also be of use.
The H&C book British Tanks in Normandy will be equally useful. If you don't have acces to it, drop me a note. I could scan some pictures for you.

Any unit or specific operation yo have in mind?

Best, MartinD
