Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Fellow Track-Heads.
The Tokyo Show is upon up, and as always, wonderful news all around. I am very happy to see a newly tooled IS-2 in 1/35 scale, (in fact its the highlight of the Tokyo Show for me). There are some sprue shots available for your eager eyes that I found of the Tamiya IS-2 from a well known Japanese blogger.

One unique feature is that the upper hull comes in two parts which can mean more IS-2's in the future. Perhaps a UTZM manufactured vehicle.
One would really hope for a new ISU-122/152 as its about time a newly tooled 1/35 scale model of this beast to be released.
Whichever direction Tamiya will take the IS-2 moulds, we are sure to see some more Stalin's in the future.
