Just so we have no misunderstanding here, I had to bend the bottom hull plate in order to get the side plates lined up, even then, it seemed like an act of futility. I was finally able to assemble the side plates, but that is not the issue. The issue is the glacis not fitting together with the front plate (the one that houses the machine gun). If you notice on the upper right-hand corner of the glacis plate, it seems a bit "short", that and the both the glacis plate and the front plate don't fit together properly.

I have enclosed a pic of the assembly. Please excuse the poor quality of the pic, I still haven't mastered the use of my digital camera. I have attached a piece of tape to the hull assembly with an arrow on it pointng to the trouble area. If you look closely, you'll know what I am talking about.

Just so you know, I too, am not a big fan of multiple piece hull assemblies.
