David, If you would be willing to see what is clear to most respondents here please go to Paul's second response in this thread refering you to Mike Bishops Blog. In the blog scroll down to the heading "Brass Fenders-Finished view #2". If you compare this (and other) photo(s) from the blog you will see a clear and observable diffrence in where Mike has his vertical hull plate in comparison to the bolt detail on the final drives as opposed to where your front hull plate sits. There is clearly quite a bit of diffrence between the two builds, and though it might hurt your feelings I mean no disrespect to you; but there is IMHO just the smallest chance that indeed you did make a mistake somewhere in the hull construction leading up to applying the front glacis plate to the lower hull.Please don't take this wrong, but if you did make a mistake you have just joined a very prestigous group of modellers.If you ever have the chance ask Mark Ford if he has ever made a mistake, or Bill Horan, or Monroe Perdue, etc.etc.etc.I know that I am not anywhere near the above mentioned modellers, but like them I have made many mistakes in this hobby, most of them I have learned something from, a few were not learning opportunities; just mistakes.
