Well from what I can tell you, I built the AFV Club M10, which obviously shares the M36's chassis. All I can say is that as good as the AFV Club kit was, Academy's is much more detailed. The AFV's kit has some inacurate suspention and the bolts on the front and side are two peices EACH, making for a painstaking process. Its not that the AFV kit is bad, its just that Academy's kit looks much better. Its like comparing Tamiya and Dragon, if you know what i mean.
