Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Hi Roy,

interesting theory, you could be right, at least to some degree! But evil companies thinking aside, perhaps we should just be glad that companies offer several possible variants to buy (in plastic) these days.

I have also waited for the 155mm prime mover variant (out now, just as per the promised schedule!), I have the AFV club 155mm M1 kit and masters production WWII wheels and dolly already in the stash (and well, this stash is big enough to simply wait out for now kits for the rest of my live I am ashamed to admit).

I do feel that DML really is pushing the envelope with the least common variant first out, perhaps this is because they already know they will make a few small (and big in some cases) mistakes and really do rely on us to point them out (or simply ask Tom Cockle and get it right the first time around! (Pz. IV F2).

Oh well, I'll wait for the corrected and improved Pz. IIc (I expect?) variant instead of the cyberhobby IIF that I am sure (ort hope at least) will be made.

Probably this is the same reason we are still awaiting the M3 halftrack, after the deflated wheels/hull rivest instead of screws issues, DML is probably retooling it to a (perhaps large, imho not needed extent).

oh well, krg WOuter
