Still it would be nice to have a few of the various vehicles based on the YW531 APC. Several variants have seen combat, staring back in Vietnam, in Africa, and finally in Iraq. A fair amount of exports as well. Can't say that for most of the available kits of Chinese armor.
The only 1/35 scale kits are the resin examples from AEF Designs. Several years back there was suppose to be another resin YW531, there were even photos of the master. Unfortunately the kit never appeared.
There's a rather poor injected plastic example in 1/35 scale of the Type 63 light amphibious tank, again a vehicle that has actually seen combat. A new state of the art example, or it's replacement vehicle, the Type 99 would be nice. The PLA Marine scheme is particularily nice.
