Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

until you open the box. A Carton of boxes will have eight to ten boxes and in each box is a different toy or model. For kits like the X-wing, if you buy the entire carton, you get all the parts you need for the X-wing. If you buy the boxes one a week, you may end up with two left upper wings or pehaps two pilots and no noses. At this point I can "trade" with others that bought the boxs to get the parts I am missing.

Most retailers if they know what is coming can sell the entire carton to you. In Hawaii, we have a store called Mecha Hawaii that specializes in gashapon and just about most toy and hobby items from Japan. I plan on buying the entire carton from them when it is released.

Visit thier website at www.mechahawaii.com.

I subscribe to the Japanese magazines Armour Modelling and Model Graphix through this store.

hope this helps,
Aloha,
Val
