I searched through all my metal punches until I found one that produced a disc that fit snugly inside the drive sprocket. I then punched a few out and glued them to the driveshafts one either side and let them dry for a day. They're not perfect but far more stable than OOTB and, in my case, pushed the sprockets out about 1mm so they lined up with the bogies. BTW don't forget to shave of the rear idler mounting bracket once the bogies are permanently in place so the idler assembly can be adjusted to touch the ground.
