Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Hi everyone.

Probably not unlike lots of other modellers out there i have started work on the new Hobbyboss M4 tractor and a "Long Tom" cannon to go along with it. The tractor hasnt given me many worries, but the gun certainly has. I knew the tyres that came in the kit were post ww2 so i bought the masters productions replacements. Also I´ve picked out a few other details on the gun itself that has to be addressed. What bothers me is the limber. Is this also post WW2?

Master productions makes a set that includes a different limber from the one included in the afv club kit. This was out of stock at blast models when i settled for the bare wheel set, otherwise I would have got that one instead. Will I have to get more wheels just for the limber?

Any artillery experts out there?:)
