I also got a sample of the new Tasca M4A1 "late" kit. A few interesting points about the kit:
1. The lower hull is still riveted, the modeller is directed to sand off the existing rivets.
2. There is a new mantlet, a full-width one. Two types of rotoshields are included.
3. Hull and turret applique armour pieces are included. There were not inthe "mid" kit.
4. The "mid" kit's transmission housing is included, and not the later "pointy" one. Is this correct?
5. New tracks, the type designation I don't know, are included. There are the rubber block type with the rubber cheverons.
I am sending the kit to Saul Garcia tomorrow, he knows all about this tank and will be able to write a much better review than I.
