Jamie, I don't know of a correct AM barrel.
From what I have gathered the Tamiya one is OK.

I am interested in your comment about the Armorscale barrel, it (and the Aber one) seems far too big to me in both muzzle brake and barrel girth. I didn't know it was post-war.
Can you say more about that?
