Hi Everybody
I followed the discussion about the Ram tanks with high interest.
I'm aware of the Formations Ram OP and Ram Badger conversions being an excellent choice for building such a tank.
Unfortunately they were not available when I discovered the existence this tank and the only choice acquirable for me those days was the Verlinden conversion. These upgrade and conversion kits were then highly praised, even thogh they were quite pricey and hard to get.
Of course, there was little or no information about inherent inaccuracies of the kit. The first time I had a clue was many years later by reading the blog about the Ram OP from Paul Roberts on this site.
However the hints about these shortcomings are a bit nebulous to me, for they are quite vague about the faulty areas. As I want to build an early version, I think I have to work with my old Verlinden kit anyway.
I need more detailed information about the deficiencies of the Verlinden conversion and what is to be done to cure them out.
