Hi Michael

I found an article in the AFV modeller no. 10 issue (May/June 2003) by Frederik Astier where he backdates the Italeri kit into WW II condition.
For the running gear he uses the roadwheels of a Tamiya M42 Duster kit due to better details. The sprockets and idlers he uses are part of the Friulmodel ATL 39 kit of the T72E1 tracks.
The radiator covers on the rear are scratchbuilt to regain the slatted frame look of the original in WW II. There are some more things he changed or added but that's done quickly and You retain most of the original kit.
