That is a command tank, note the antenna pot by the co-driver's position & the cable reel by the driver's hatch. The cable wrapped around the turret may be a co-ax for remoting the radio so it can be operated from outside the tank, useful for when performing listening watches in static locations.
Being as the tank has an "A" nickname, my guess is that it could likely be the OC "A" Sqn's mount. Seen this sequence of photos before, the Regiment is possibly Staffordshire Yeomanry - style of lettering is same as "Belvedere" as depicted in the Tasca Firefly kit.
