David, the Hoods are detailed as for an M4A4 and not an M4A2. The A2 and the M4's shared almost identical hoods depending on the manufacturer. Apparantly DML had done research on a Firefly Vc and this is where the confusion came from.
The best way to an accurate M4 is to convert a DML Sherman III using the Formations conversion set or if you like a challange convert the Sherman III kit using parts from the Tamiya M4.
