Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

DML, lifted the bar but not their game :).

While DML is trying to shoot holes in everyone else's kits (front springs on Tristar's Brummbar/Stupa to name but one) I thought that it would be only fair to post this (found at ML).

The posting of the new kit

And the reply
"Something I noticed on the Zimmerited StuH kit on the Constructive Comments:

-The front hatch key holes shouldn't be coated with Zimmerit.
-The Zimmerit pattern shouldn't be very even near the bolts on the fighting compartment front armor plates.
-The hull rear joints and the rear plate are of too early pattern for a Zimmerited vehicle.
-The fender supports are too early type for a Zimmerited vehicle.
-The hole of the close defence weapon ought to have been plucked from under the roof on an Alkett vehicle.
-Zimmerit on the hull side air scoops?

Cheers,

Pekka"
