Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

I built the original issue from Spojnia when it first came out in the late 80s. It originally came in a bright blue plastic. Back then it was a fairly nice kit but today its CRUDE CITY. Very simple and thick moldings. About the only detail are big bolts and rivets. The gun barrel is a big stick with a blob on the end. The tracks are extremely crude vinyl tracks with no detail at all inside or out. The same basic kit was used to make various T-26 variants. The T-26 and 7TP are both based on a Vickers design, but they differ in detail so using the 7TP chassis and wheels for the T-26 isnt a great idea. RPM does sell some good indi link tracks that, while tedious, are way better than the worthless kit vinyl ones. Some boxing of the T-26/7TP kits have the links included.

Basically its not too bad dimension wise, its just very sparse, clunky and simplistic. There are no fine parts or fine details what so ever.
