| If you use Italeri's tracks, reposition the track tension idler inward a tiny bit, or the vinyl track will split after it's been in position a few weeks. This was also a problem on their Panzer I kit. That said, the Semovente is much better in detail than Tamiya's. Italeri surged ahead of Tamiya in tooling technology for a short time in the 1970's--then Tamiya got better, and inexplicably, Italeri got worse (most of their their 1980's and 90's kits were embarrassing). |
