A tricky thing with any of the Italian M13/40 or Semovente kits is getting the tracks on. There is basically NO wiggle room between the return rollers and the track guards. Even cutting back the track guards still leaves the guard on the front half of the tank. If you have fixed the return rollers, idler, etc. Its really really really hard to fit the tracks. So leave off those details. I made the mistake of building up the suspension and then not being able to even get the kit vinyl tracks fitted.
Friul (I think Model Victoria also has them) tracks are great. The new sprockets are so-so. Detail is marginally better than Italeri's in some areas but less in others and they are a bit rough. |
