Since I know so little about Shermans.....

I have the Dragon M4A4 (6035) sitting in the stash and I somewhere picked up a 105mm barrel and mantel. Would this combination have ever existed? I have heard this kit doesnt measure up to the current kit standards, but what needs to be done to make it passable? Who would have used it in the ETO? With the release of the new Panda track sets (I have the T-49, and duckbill sets and they look great) what would be the best set for this kit?
