The Germans only used the F2 designation for like a month before calling it a G. So basically if it has the long gun, its a G. Early G tanks have the round muzzle brake and later G's had the double baffle.

The Panzer III and IV were mainstays at Kursk. The 2nd Panzer Division had G's of the late type with Schurzen armor. Osprey's Kursk book has a photo of one.
